Core is a Microsoft Cloud Managed Service Partner, specialising in Microsoft 365 technology for people and businesses who want to realise modern workplace technology solutions to drive their business forward. We specialise in providing a wide range of services, solutions and software to optimise our clients’ Microsoft investments.
Job description:
Core Technology Systems is a leading UK Microsoft Partner and has been delivering bespoke Microsoft solutions for customers for over 15 years. For this role, we are seeking a Cloud Engineer to join our professional services team, within our Cloud and Infrastructure practice. Our Cloud Engineer will be responsible for implementation of solutions within Core's delivery stack. This role will be primarily implementation focused, leveraging from content and designs produced by our Architects and Consultants, however this practice plays a key role in product development, and the Cloud Engineers are encouraged to be as involved in these products as possible.
The candidate should have a forward drive to increase their knowledge base of our current and future products, to drive towards aiding in more and more consulting activities. Any prior experience in delivering technical works, as part of a Managed Services, or Professional Services team is welcomed. Ongoing product development is a key part to this role, as such feedback through implementation experience will be vital to ongoing success delivering our products.
This role will be very hands on, working directly on customer implementations initially. However, we expect the Cloud Engineer's role to change over time, adopting more and more of a consultative function within the team. It's expected for the Cloud Engineers to be 80% billable for their role, with projects assigned via our PMO function, and working closely alongside project technical leads, likely Consultants or Architects accordingly.
