DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join Capula's technology team in London.

Overall purpose of the job:

• Help deliver our next-gen cloud-native platform built on AWS and Kubernetes by leveraging your DevOps expertise to support multiple software development teams migrating to it.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide support to developers (i.e. by helping them migrate to Kubernetes).
• Handle installation and upgrades of key DevOps tools and systems.
• Maintain robust DEV and UAT environments to support the software development life cycle.
• Research and implement new technologies within the DevOps space to improve the effectiveness of our development teams.

Education and Qualifications

• Candidates will ideally hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field.

Experience

• Proven track record of managing DevOps processes to support multiple development teams.
• Demonstrated experience with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins, TeamCity, etc.
• Solid experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, ELK Stack, etc.
• Any experience working with cloud service providers, such as AWS, is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes is highly desirable.

Skills

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Deep knowledge of Docker.
• Competence in managing both Linux and Windows servers.
• Proficiency in Python scripting is considered an asset.
